From October 6 users can receive 10 CUC recharges from abroad to surf the Internet if they have a permanent Nauta account. The measure taken by the Cuban Telecommunications Company (ETECSA by its Spanish acronym) was announced Saturday in Granma newspaper.
This option does not include yet duplication of balance that are frequently enabled for recharges from abroad to mobile phones.
The official newspaper said the new service wants to encourage the acquisition of permanent Nauta accounts since many users still prefer the temporary navigation card, despite its higher price.
