The weak infrastructure in Cuba remains an obstacle to the arrival of ferries

The US government has already issued more than 15 licenses to begin operating ferries in Cuba, but the lack of infrastructure on the island remains an obstacle, informed the Ministry of Transportation.
In a video conference at the headquarters of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, Chacon said that we cannot "start tomorrow" these operations if we "have been 54 years without ferry." The manager said that is needed above all to "create infrastructure" and "make repair", projects that many American companies want to start but cannot because of Washington's refusal to grant credit to invest in Cuba.
