Hotel Nacional de Cuba was elected the hotel leader of Cuba by World Travel Awards, the award was given in an official ceremony on Saturday in the Bahamas before a significant number of countries and international hotel chains.
A few months ago the Hotel Nacional was nominated along with other hotels in Cuba and the Caribbean and finally was selected for this award, which is considered the Oscar of tourism. The iconic Cuban facility celebrates its 85th anniversary on December 30.
Prizes are awarded after a rigorous process in which more than half a million travel professionals and tourists from about 170 countries participate.
Hotel Nacional de Cuba has won this award in more than 10 opportunities, demonstrating the well-earned reputation it enjoys and the high quality of the services provided.
