On the occasion of the recently concluded International Fair of Havana it was announced the celebration in Cuba of the tourist event "Urban Rally Challenge", to be held from 9 to 11 next September.
For this V edition of the City Challenge it is expected the participation of over 70 pilots in their respective cars, as well as the influx of their many followers worldwide, according to estimates could reach figures of 10 thousand to 20 thousand visitors.
In the organization of the event the Ministry of Construction, the ICRT, the Council of the Provincial Administration, among others, are involved. It aims to be a great show, with displays of old cars and karting, and provide an opportunity to honor the pilot and five-time world champion, Juan Manuel Fangio, because it respects the layout of his last race in the coastal city: from Maine monument to Maceo Park.
