Ship of the British Royal Navy arrives in Havana
The British Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) Lime Bay will arrive in Havana city today, according to a press release by the Cuban Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR)
During their visit, the British sailors will meet an agenda that includes courtesy visits to the Head of the Revolutionary Navy, the Presidency of the People´s Power Assembly in Havana, as well as touring sites of historical and cultural interests.
RFA Lyme Bay is a Bay-class auxiliary landing ship dock (LSD(A)) of the British Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA). Ordered from Swan Hunter in 2000, the ship was launched in 2005, but entered service in 2007.
