Dozens of Argentinean business people attended a lecture in Buenos Aires by Cuban Foreign Trade and Investment minister Rodrigo Malmierca on the business opportunities in Cuba.
Malmierca traveled to Argentina to attend the inauguration of President-elect Mauricio Macri and he met with a group of entrepreneurs Wednesday evening at the Cuban embassy in Buenos Aires.
The minister explained the opportunities offered to investors at the Special Development Zone in the western Cuban harbor of Mariel, where a large infrastructure is being raised for the establishment of different projects.
He also stressed the new portfolio of investment opportunities, which includes 326 projects in 12 manufacture and service areas, calculated at 8 billion dollars.
Participants expressed interest in doing business with Cuba in the areas of sugar, construction, electronic equipment among others.
