The Cuban Health Ministry reiterated on Tuesday that no case with clinical symptoms compatible to the Zika virus has been detected on the island, while specialists follow all fever syndromes to early detect cases of Zika, Chikungunya or Dengue.
Cuba is adopting all measures to prevent the entrance of the Zika virus and to cut its transmission in case a person infected with the disease enters the country.
The most important step to take to prevent the transmission of Zika, Chikungunya or Dengue is the elimination of mosquitoes and for this the people must clean all possible mosquito-breeding grounds, reads the announcement.
