Tuesday March 22 Cubans were able to witness one of the most significant events of the official visit of President Barack Obama to Cuba, who spoke to more than a thousand attendees at Havana’s Alicia Alonso Grand Theater and the millions of Cubans who heard him from their homes on the island and many other places of the world.Shortly after he held a meeting with Cuban entrepreneurs, Obama dedicated a few words to Cuban citizens and the history between the two nations. We are like brothers separated for a long time although we share the same blood, Obama said after reciting, in perfect Spanish, a verse of a poem by Marti, Cultivo una rosa blanca, and give the Cuban people a greeting of peace.
