The presentation of the Chinese Yutong electric bus attracted interests among the participants at the 35th Havana International Trade Fair, FIHAV 2016.
The Vice President of the Chinese firm said, during the inauguration on Monday at Havana's ExpoCuba exhibition hall, this Yutong bus constitutes the country's proposal at the event in addition to another six products, equipment and machinery designed on the basis of the needs identified on the Caribbean island.
He explained that from the technical point of view, the new bus presents high standards in security and is reliable with advantages of low energy consumption and no contaminated gas emissions.
The Chinese business executive recalled that this prestigious Brand, exported to over 130 countries entered the Cuban market in 2005 consolidated on the island for its significant use in the transportation network in the country.
He also explained must learn before the arrival of the new technology, production and training of its personal to take on the imported bus although he does not rule out its incorporation to the country´s public transportation network in the future.
