Actors take the streets in Cuba

The fourth Street Theater Festival began in Matanzas Province last Tuesday with the presence of ten Cuban groups and artists from Argentina, Spain, Canada, Colombia and Mexico.
The opening ceremony took place at the small Pueblo Nuevo Square with the production of "La balada del marino."
A work based on Homer s "Odysseus," it s a version by playwright Ulises Rodriguez Febles, designed by Adan Rodriguez, directed by Francisco Rodriguez and with music by Raul Valdes.
The festival will take place until April 15th in parks and squares of Matanzas wilth 50 formal presentations, besides the participating actors street performances.
