Workers at the Argentinean Ernesto Che Guevara Museum in Alta Gracia donated a replica of the Cuban-Argentine guerrilla's statue to Cuba.
The work was brought to the island for the Havana International Book Fair and exhibit, Ismary Fernandez, specialist of the Che Sculpture Complex in Santa Clara, told Cuban TV.
The original, allegorical of Che as a child, came with other graphic materials, beginning an exchange between the two nations.
The sculpture will soon be exhibited in the Santa Clara mausoleum, where the remains of the legendary revolutionary and several of his fellow countrymen were placed 10 years ago.
