The group "Cero a la Izquierda", from the western Cuban province of Pinar del Río, is fostering initiatives to link artistic expressions with the community. The group, which is based in the municipality of Mantua, has promoted artistic expressions such as drawings, painting, engraving, photography, installations, sculptures and performances.

In an effort to raise the audience's interest in arts, the group has organized several exhibitions and is in constant communication with the community. One of the group's projects is the sand sculpture festival, and they will celebrate its second edition in August.

The members of the group are restoring sculptures and creating new ones to decorate strategic and historic sites in Cuba's western province.
