A Cuban migrant was found dead inside the residence he was renting at the Costa Verde condominium in Tapachula, Chiapas state, Mexico. The media outlet Ultimatum Mx reported that the tragic incident occurred this Thursday when the Cuban national, identified as José Pablo "N", allegedly suffered a cardiac arrest.

Authorities were alerted through the emergency center about the situation and promptly arrived at the scene. Security agents conducted the necessary procedures and requested the intervention of forensic services from the District Border Prosecution Office.

Upon examining the deceased's body, forensic personnel found no apparent injuries, which supports the hypothesis that a cardiac arrest was the cause of death.

The death of this Cuban in Mexico serves as a stark reminder of the harsh conditions faced by migrants as they seek a better life away from their homeland. Often, they do not seek medical attention in time due to a lack of financial resources or fear of deportation.

In March, another Cuban migrant, Yaileisy Asin Estévez, originally from Santiago de Cuba, died from a diabetic coma. She was living in Mexico, awaiting her CBP One appointment to cross legally into the United States and seek asylum.
