A massive alligator over twelve feet long was captured at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa and subsequently relocated to Gatorama Park in Palmdale, Florida.

The sighting of the enormous reptile was shared on Facebook by the page Matt Devitt WINK Weather, noting that due to its size, the animal looked like it came straight out of the Jurassic Park movie series. "He's already making new alligator friends. That is definitely one big guy!" commented the page on the social network.

Last April, another huge alligator was also captured at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa. The reptile roamed freely on the base's runway before being caught and relocated to a nearby river by personnel from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).

A video posted on Facebook shows two officers from the wildlife conservation agency struggling with the alligator, which thrashed and resisted being subdued. Tied up with ropes, they were eventually able to overpower it and lead it off the runway.
