Cuban Couple from "Doble Tentación" Celebrates Expecting Their First Child

In January 2017, "Doble Tentación," a Chilean reality show aired on Mega channel, challenging the relationships of several long-term couples. Among the few duos who entered and continued their romance outside the show were the Cubans Glendis Leyva and Ernesto Contreras. They have now joyfully announced the arrival of their first child.

While most couples from the show have since split, the love between Leyva and Contreras has not only endured but flourished, culminating in their marriage in 2023. Now, they are about to experience the ultimate blessing: becoming parents. "On this special day, I want to share the dream that most women have: to be a mother," Leyva posted on Instagram.

In the photograph, you can see the baby bump of the future mom. Although there is still time for the birth, the young couple is already relishing the journey to parenthood. "My heart beats so beautifully and uniquely during this phase of my life that it truly cannot be compared to anything else," Leyva expressed.

In another Instagram post, Leyva is seen very happy: "I wouldn't trade my pregnant face for anything; this stage of my life is irreplaceable. Thank you, God, for giving me the most beautiful gift of my life."

Recently, the model shared an ultrasound video of her pregnancy with her more than 136,000 followers on Instagram. "True love is not known until you have within you the being you will love more than anything for your entire life," she said, adding, "Dad and I await you with the greatest love, my darling; you are already growing inside me."

In a heartfelt declaration of the joy their child will bring, Leyva emphasized, "May my God and all the saints always bless you, for you will never lack the love from dad and me."

Leyva and Contreras have been together for eight years and have been living in Las Vegas, United States, where they have found significant success both professionally and personally, according to the news website Página 7.

Gabriel and Dili, known virtually as impactcouple, recently starred in a humorous video that went viral with over six million views on Instagram. The clip shows the couple in a car where Gabriel humorously apologizes to Dili for various minor mistakes, like not covering her while she slept or being unfaithful in his dreams—a comedic scene that many couples have related to, as seen in the comments on the video.
