Glendis Leyva, a Cuban star of the Chilean reality show “Doble Tentación” and now a resident of Las Vegas, USA, greeted her mother with two beautiful surprises: a decorated room filled with balloons and flowers, and the chance to watch her future grandchild grow up.

The model shared on Instagram several videos showcasing the decorated room prepared for her mother, the long-awaited moment of her arrival in the United States less than a month ago, and the touching scene where the soon-to-be grandmother was carried in her son-in-law's arms to see the beautifully decorated room.

Heartwarming Welcome in Las Vegas

“Here I show you the beautiful room I prepared to surprise my mother,” said Leyva on Instagram, displaying a room dominated by pink hues and featuring a photo of the two of them on one wall. Another thoughtful detail was a towel embroidered with the name “Gladis”, revealing the care and love Leyva put into welcoming the woman who gave her life.

“Five years without living together and now I have you, mom, to never let you go again. So many prayers for you to be here and today we made that dream come true,” Leyva posted on social media, accompanying the emotional video of their reunion embrace.

“We separated so I could give you the life I dreamed for you, and now from today we will live it together. Thanks to God and all the saints for bringing my queen to me,” she added, in what is undoubtedly a beautiful declaration of love.

Another touching moment during the reunion was when her son-in-law, Ernesto Contreras, also a star of the Chilean reality show “Doble Tentación,” carried Gladis in his arms and led her to her new room.

“And here is the welcome and reaction of my dear mother in her new room, fit for a queen. I love you, mom,” Leyva posted on Instagram. The video captures her mother's delighted reaction, who could only say, “Oh, how beautiful, thank you.”

In addition to a better life with her daughter in the United States, Gladis will also have the joy of watching her future grandchild grow up. Just a week ago, the model shared a video on social media of an ultrasound showing the progress of her pregnancy.

“Wow, definitely, you don't know true love until you have inside you the being you will love more than anything for your whole life,” Leyva wrote, filled with excitement.

Recently, another Cuban family experienced a heartwarming reunion. With the background music of "Cuba, isla bella" by Orishas, a TikTok user shared a video of the emotional moment she arrived on the island to surprise her family. The excitement of approaching the family home unnoticed and the joy of long-awaited hugs have moved many users, who yearn to experience similar moments with their loved ones in Cuba.

How long does the family reunification process take?

The time frame for family reunification varies depending on the relationship between the petitioner and the beneficiary, the country of origin, and the specific visa category. It can range from several months to several years.
