The Cuban authorities have announced the reopening of the ice cream factory located in Mayarí, within the province of Holguín. After being shut down for eight months due to issues related to energy transformers, the factory has now entered the testing phase, and so far, everything is running smoothly.

According to information from the local newspaper Ahora, the first sales are expected to take place at Cremería El Río on Saturday, June 1st, coinciding with the celebration of Children's Day. Once production is fully restored, priority will be given to deliveries to maternal and elderly homes, daycare centers, and other social care facilities.
