A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries after crashing into the barriers on the Central Highway in the municipality of Jiguaní, located in the province of Granma, on Monday.
A report in the Facebook group “Accidentes Buses & Camiones por más experiencia y menos víctimas!” highlighted the traffic accident, allegedly caused by the high speed at which the motorcyclist was traveling, leading to a collision with the road's concrete pillars.
“Central Highway Jiguaní, entered the curve at excessive speed and crashed into the concrete barriers at the edge of the curve. The driver sustained severe injuries,” wrote user Ernesto Guerra.
The post included a photo showing the extensive damage to the motorcycle, a MZ brand. Due to the force of the impact, almost the entire front part of the vehicle, including the handlebars, suspension, and wheel, was torn from the chassis.
