Jorge Junior has come to the defense of his cousin, El Taiger, following the circulation of videos on social media showing a confrontation with Ja Rulay last Sunday during an event in Varadero.

According to the videos of the altercation, El Taiger is seen leaving the scene running and shielded by his entourage, a move many have labeled as cowardice in the face of Ja Rulay's threat. Jorge Junior felt compelled to address the situation, defending his cousin by stating that El Taiger ran because Ja Rulay was escorted by Cuban command and police personnel, putting El Taiger at a disadvantage if the conflict escalated.

"Stop calling me to ask about the same thing. I stand by my position but I'm observing the situation. Listen, stop deceiving yourselves; it's all false. El Taiger was with the craziest people in the environment, and no one would dare cross that line. El Taiger and his team were up against the command and police protecting his enemy," Jorge Junior explained in a post on his Facebook account.

The leader of the group Los 4 further asserted that Ja Rulay has connections with the country's security forces and that El Taiger's retreat was merely a strategy to avoid an ambush.

"With all due respect, someone tell me the names of this guy's security, and I'll stay quiet. Lelo, remember we know each other well and understand how you operate," he added.

"Understand that it's not the same to shoot someone from the street as it is to shoot someone from the command. Fortunately, it wasn't used. Anyway, I'm still watching but staying alert, so there are no misunderstandings. El Taiger never ran; he freed himself from an ambush," he concluded.

This version of the incident is the same one El Taiger has been defending. The reggaeton artist clarified in a live stream on his Instagram account that he didn't flee the scene but chose to withdraw to avoid harming a command or police officer, as the consequences would have been far more severe than attacking a civilian.
