Mario Cedeño, the partner of Srta Dayana, is on the mend following a complex spinal surgery in Miami, which involved an implant in his vertebrae.
In an Instagram post, Mario revealed that he had to undergo this procedure due to a car accident he suffered several months ago. "My people, thank God I am recovering. Several months ago, I had a severe car accident where I nearly lost my life. Thank God I'm alive. A truck hit me from behind at high speed, causing extensive injuries to various parts of my body—cervical, spine, shoulder, and ankles. Today, they had to implant in my vertebrae 5 and 6 because they were affected. I am now recovering from this operation," he explained.
Accompanied by several photos with Srta Dayana and his doctor, as well as images from the surgery, he expressed his gratitude to the doctor who performed the operation and to his family for their unwavering support.
"I need to recover, and it won't be the same because these injuries are lifelong. I will have to limit many activities that I won't be able to do as before. But thank God, I am alive, enjoying my family, my daughter, and my woman, who always give me all the strength in the world to continue in a moment like this. What would I do without these two people whom I love the most in life," he added in his social media post.
For her part, Srta Dayana also took to her Instagram stories to thank the healthcare team and expressed strong confidence in her partner's recovery, saying, "We're getting through this! Thank God."
