Activists and feminist platforms have released new details about Melisa Odaisi Peraza Cabrera, a 24-year-old woman who has been reported missing for 20 days. Independent journalist and activist Marta María Ramírez revealed on her Facebook page that Melisa, who resides in Cárdenas, Matanzas, left her home on May 14 to travel to Havana to meet a man she had met online.

"On May 27, after several unsuccessful attempts to contact her and after a friend saw her from a distance on Ayestarán Street in Havana walking with two young men, the family reported her disappearance to the Cárdenas Police," Ramírez detailed.

The last time Melisa was seen, she was wearing blue jeans and white sneakers. She has three children: a four-year-old girl, a two-year-old boy, and a four-month-old baby girl. In her online photos, she appears to be of slender build. According to her family's description, she has hazel eyes, brown hair, and a mole above her upper lip. She also has three tattoos: one on her arm, another on her chest (featuring the names of her siblings and daughter), and a third unspecified tattoo.

"Any information about her whereabouts, please call the contacts provided by her family, 50871224 and 63913513, and/or the Police," the activist urged.

This week, Roxana García, administrator of the Facebook group "Denouncing Crimes in Cuba," shared another plea for help on social media after contacting Chris Dugena, who claims to be Melisa's cousin.

"Please, if you see this young woman, call the number 50871224. She has been missing for 17 days. The last time she was seen was in Havana, with a little boy. Please, if you see her, call urgently. She has three children who ask for their mom every day. Her family is desperately searching for her," García wrote.

The post has been widely shared on Facebook, with strong community support for the family's tough situation. However, there are still no leads on the young mother's whereabouts.
