Cuban actor Jorge Alí continues to delight his fans with photos from his stay in Cuba, showing him in the company of old friends and colleagues. This time, he reunited with Luis Alberto Ramírez, his co-star from 25 years ago on the series Memorias de un abuelo, which aired in 1999 on the show Aventuras.

"Reunions worth having," stated the portal Cubaactores on their Instagram account, noting that the beloved actors "embraced once again after some time." The post featured an image of Jorge and Luis Alberto in character from Memorias..., where they both played officers of the Rebel Army.

The series, which has re-aired multiple times on television, tells the story of two teenage brothers who joined the fight against Batista in the Sierra Maestra. It starred Eblis Valdivia (El Boni) and Caleb Casas, both now living outside of Cuba.

In mid-May, news broke of Jorge Alí's presence in Cuba, where he spent time with his brother, actor Omar Alí, and his sister-in-law, actress and screenwriter Iris Pérez. They all went to a restaurant on Mother's Day.

Days later, it was revealed that Jorge would be filming in Havana for the movie Calle 232, with a script and direction by Rudy Mora. The film also stars Isabel Santos, Luis Ángel Batista, Laura Moras, Yudexi de la Torre, and Andrea Doimeadiós.

Recently, Iris Pérez addressed public concerns about her brother-in-law's health on social media, as many internet users noted that Jorge Alí appeared much thinner compared to his robust and energetic self from years ago.

"Thinness is not synonymous with illness. Short hair doesn't mean sickness either. I know there is a lot of love behind these concerns, but rest assured, as far as we know, everything is fine," wrote the actress on Instagram.

Jorge Alí, the much-loved Beto from the comedy show Punto G, has been residing in Miami since 2009 and had been working for the television channel América TeVé for some time. Recently, he was part of the cast of Crimen en Miami, a series on the platform PRONYR TV, where he shared scenes with Coralita Veloz, Mauricio Casín, and Jennifer de Armas in the episode Matar a la vieja.
