He expressed pride in witnessing her hard work. The video can be found on the TikTok profile of @torresguampy, who remarked in the video: "Look at this, so you can see that when someone wants to get ahead, nothing stops them. I came across this on the street during a tornado here in Houston. A woman selling tamales in the pouring rain."

He continued, "In the middle of a heavy downpour. But this kind of thing fills me with pride. There are women who look for excuses not to move forward. There are beautiful women lying in bed, saying they can't because of their nails, their hair..." After buying a bag of tamales, he generously tipped the woman. "You see, when a person wants to get ahead, it doesn't matter if it's raining or if they're soaking wet. That's why we came to this country. Look at that woman, putting in the effort. God takes care of rewarding such people," the Cuban concluded.
