The two sons of prominent former Cuban baseball player Norberto González Miranda from Cienfuegos have left the country to pursue their dream of reaching the Major Leagues.

According to journalist Francys Romero, the sons of Norberto, a former national team pitcher who achieved Olympic, Pan American, and World Championship glory, are now in the Dominican Republic.

This includes Andy González, 15, who plays as a third baseman and catcher, and his brother Alex González, 18, a right-handed pitcher.

"They will train at the Yuan Pino Academy in Santo Domingo. Both talents possess excellent tools to sign with an MLB organization," Romero noted on his Facebook page.
