Mayeta reported on Sunday night that the incident, involving González’s motorcycle and a police car, occurred on the Cuabitas Road. This locality, on the outskirts of the city, is where the young man resided.

The motorcyclist was traveling at high speed and, after the collision, was left lying on the road, according to eyewitnesses.

The police officer driving the patrol car appeared nervous and shaken, to the point that bystanders had to step in to calm him down.
