A young Cuban has been missing for 48 hours in Havana, and his family is urgently seeking help to find him.

"Hello, I am a relative of this young man who has been missing for 48 hours and the police are not responding or providing any information. I don't see any action from them, and as time passes, we fear the worst," a family member wrote to our newsroom.

The relative expressed skepticism about the police's response and asked for assistance in spreading the word about this distressing situation, which has left the family, especially the young man's mother, in deep sorrow. The mother, who is said to have a heart condition, has reportedly been unable to sleep for two nights.

On Facebook, a user named Yaser Ângëlblâck, who identified himself as the young man's uncle, shared a photo of the missing individual along with two phone numbers for anyone who might have information: (+53) 59 767 725 (his mother's number) or (+52) 54 497 462 (his father's number).

Unfortunately, neither the message sent to our newsroom nor the Facebook post provided additional details about the young man's disappearance or what he was wearing when he was last seen.

Last Friday, the disappearance of a Cuban woman residing in Sancti Spíritus also came to light. She left her home six days ago to go shopping and has not returned. Her family has not heard from her since.

Her name is Cleidys Garcías, and her cousin took to social media to report her disappearance and request help.
