Layra de la Caridad Valdés Ramírez, a young woman born in Havana, Cuba, has graduated from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM)
"My mother went from being a laboratory director at a hospital to cleaning bathrooms as a housekeeper. My father, who holds a Master's degree in Chemistry, now works in a warehouse.
