"I became a mom very young; I was only 15 when I had my first child, which meant I couldn't buy anything for him with my own money because I had none. I was studying back then. Seeing myself now as a grown woman after six years, in another country, being able to buy whatever I want, picking out what I like, it makes me very emotional. I realize now how much of a child I was, not even considering the risks of being a mom at 15," she wrote in one of her stories on social media.
While she assured that she has never regretted having her firstborn so young—her "prince who is almost a young man"—she feels "grateful to God for giving me the opportunity to relive what maybe wasn't possible with my son, with this princess I am carrying in my womb. I'm so emotional; it's the pregnancy."
Rachel confessed that she is living "one of the most beautiful dreams a woman can have," and undoubtedly, being outside of Cuba, in Miami, has helped her fulfill it.
