The head of the Youth Computing and Electronics Club who was recently stabbed at his workplace in Santiago de Cuba is now out of danger and has been discharged to continue his recovery at home. This was confirmed by independent journalist Yosmany Mayeta Labrada, who also stated that the victim, named Héctor Labadí Hierrezuelo, did not suffer any organ damage from the wounds he received.

According to Mayeta Labrada, the motives behind the attack and the identities of those responsible remain unclear. However, the journalist mentioned that he would consider the "various versions and opinions of people" for "future publications," emphasizing that once a person is gravely injured, the aggressor loses all justification for their actions.

"We still don't know how this bloody incident actually occurred, as the attempted murder happened behind closed doors, and presumably Labadí had allowed the young man in," the journalist added.

Labadí, 53, is the head of the Youth Club located on the bustling Enramadas Street. The attempted murder took place on Friday, June 21st.
