William Levy Kicks Off Filming of His First Movie in Spain: "Under a Volcano"

William Levy has begun filming his debut movie in Spain, Under a Volcano, a romantic action comedy directed by Martín Cuervo, where he stars alongside Maggie Civantos, famed for her role in the popular series "Vis a Vis". This project marks a fresh collaboration between Secuoya Studios and the artist's own production company, William Levy Entertainment, following their previous success with the series "Montecristo", also featuring Levy.

The plot of Under a Volcano revolves around Mario Torres, a military pilot played by Levy, and Dani, a volcanologist concerned about an impending volcanic reactivation. Their love blossoms amidst chaos, as they face both natural and personal challenges.

The cast includes renowned actors such as Adriana Torrebejano, Fabiola Guajardo, Elia Galera, Pino Montesdeoca, and Antón Lofer. William Levy expressed his excitement to Secuoya about the project, emphasizing the quality of the technical and artistic team: "I am thrilled to return to Spain for my second project in this country and delighted to do so with my first film alongside Secuoya Studios."

The movie will be shot entirely in Tenerife, with production handled by Eduardo Campoy and David Martínez. Levy and Jeff Goldberg serve as executive producers, and the film will be distributed by Beta Fiction Spain.
