A 16-year-old Cuban teenager who had been missing in Havana has been safely reunited with his family, confirmed by a relative. The boy's mother, Yudith, shared the good news and expressed gratitude to everyone who helped in the search, though she provided no details on where he had been or how he was found.

"To all my FB friends, to every person who shared the post without knowing me, I bring you the great news that my son has been found. Infinite thanks, blessings to all," Yudith, who identifies as La Preferida De Yansa on Facebook, wrote on her wall.

On Monday, the teenager's family and friends issued an urgent plea for assistance in locating him. According to the details in the original post, which has since been deleted from social media, he was last seen wearing red shorts and a gray t-shirt with the word Puma on the front. The boy lives near the Tejas corner in the Cerro municipality, has several tattoos, and sports curly hair.
