The young Cuban boy Eleonay Rankin Cancio, who was in critical condition due to severe burns from a house fire caused by a motorbike explosion, passed away this Friday in Havana.

The tragic news was shared by Deimi Mederos Ramírez in the Facebook group "Super Mamis En La Habana." "I just found out that this little angel has passed away from third-degree burns caused by the motorbike explosion that also claimed the lives of his parents. I hope God has a beautiful place for him along with his parents," she said.

Eleonay, only nine years old, is the third victim of the fire that occurred on June 19 in the La Lisa municipality. The incident also claimed the lives of Kirenia Cancio Domínguez, 43, and her husband, Alejandro Fernández de las Cagigas. Both were employees at the Comodoro Hotel.

Additionally, in the house were his 21-year-old twin sisters, Alejandra and Laura Fernández Pérez, who are currently hospitalized in the burn unit of Hospital Calixto García. They remain in critical condition, fighting for their lives.
