Cuban Contestant of La Voz Kids Displays Talent Singing in Car

Any moment is a good one for young Dayana Riverón, the sole Cuban contestant on La Voz Kids Spain 2024, to showcase her talent. This was evident in a video shared on social media where she sings alongside her sister in a car.

The teenager, who resides in Gran Canaria, Spain, recently shared a brief clip on her Instagram story, enjoying a tender moment with her sister while doing what she loves most: singing. The song chosen by the young singer was "Te voy a amar," popularized by Andrés Cepeda. Dayana has shown great versatility, exploring genres like flamenco, rancheras, salsa, and ballads.

During the battles, the teenager impressed the judges, securing a spot in the next phase of the singing competition in its 2024 edition. David Bisbal, alongside fellow musician Álvaro Soler, selected the song "Mía," by Mexican composer Armando Manzanero, for this stage of the competition.

In the knockouts, Melendi, one of the judges, praised the young talent, stating that she not only has the potential to reach the final but also to win: "She is spectacular, Dayana."

Next Saturday, the semifinal of the talent contest will take place, where each team will retain only two of their current four contestants. Riverón is part of David Bisbal's team, with musician Álvaro Soler as their advisor. She will be the last to perform, as reported by Antena 3. The Cuban teenager will have to compete against Paula, Alira, and Mario to advance to the next stage of the talent show.
