Santa Clara: Major Collision Between Classic Car and Peugeot on Ring Road

A classic car and a Peugeot 405 collided this Sunday afternoon at a roundabout in the city of Santa Clara, thankfully without any fatalities. "Accident in Santa Clara, Ring Road, and Central Highway, Esperanza side. I am unaware of the causes and if there are any injuries or fatalities," wrote Godofredo Thompson Carrazana in the Facebook group "ACCIDENTES BUSES & CAMIONES por más experiencia y menos víctimas!"

A video shared in the same group shows the damage both vehicles sustained, with the Peugeot taking the brunt of the impact. "The driver of the green car ignored the yield sign," noted the video description.

Commenters urged drivers to be more cautious, citing an increase in accidents, especially during vacation months.
