Cuban national Yoandri Marín has taken to social media once again to express his sorrow over the prolonged absence of his missing sister, Karildi Caridad Marín, and the pervasive violence in today's Cuba.

On Facebook, Yoandri wrote, "I deeply regret the separation from my sister and the many others who are missing without a trace. It pains me to see so many families suffering because of violence and desperation."

With deep anguish, he added, "It's been almost 7 months and still nothing. I suffer every second without you, my sister. And what about our mom, dad, and your little girl who urgently needs you?"

Karildi Caridad Marín, 24, a resident of Párraga in the municipality of Arroyo Naranjo, Havana, disappeared on December 14, 2023, and there has been no information about her whereabouts since.

More than half a year has passed since she left her home for a party in the capital's Cerro municipality, and her family and friends continue to live in agonizing uncertainty.
