"Grandpa, you are a great inspiration. And I love you. The media makes my grandfather seem like a different person, but I know him as he is. He is very protective and caring. He truly wants the best for this country and will fight every day to make America great again," she concluded.
Kai's speech has been viewed as her first role in politics, following in the footsteps of other family members. The young woman wore an elegant white dress and stiletto heels and appeared confident before the audience, following her father's introduction.
"You won't often see a Trump giving up the microphone, but I got a call on Monday from a young lady who said, 'Dad, I want to speak at the convention,'" her father revealed.
