The home of four siblings in Santiago de Cuba was completely destroyed by a devastating fire on Wednesday night. The incident occurred around 10:40 pm, affecting the residence of the Castellano Salar siblings—Mariela, Maritza, Jesús, and Armando (the latter residing in Ciudad Habana), as reported on Facebook by Aris Arias Batalla, an official from the Ministry of Public Health.

According to neighbors, the blaze started inside the house, located at Calvario # 905 between Santa Rosa and Princesa, Santiago de Cuba. Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities, as no one was home at the time of the fire.

Photos shared on Facebook by Aris Arias Batalla reveal that the fire caused extensive damage to three rooms, with their roofs completely consumed by flames. Mattresses and furniture were reduced to ashes. The front part of the house, where the living room was situated, shared a roof with the neighboring house, which also sustained damage.

Neighbors forced the door open after noticing the absence of electrical flow in the home and alerted the authorities, who are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
