Family members of María Caridad Casas Corrales, a Cuban woman who has been missing since June 16, 2024, in Mexico, are desperately seeking any information regarding her whereabouts. Dianelys Corrales, Casas Corrales' cousin, made a heartfelt plea on Facebook this past Monday, requesting assistance in locating her relative. She mentioned that the last known information was that Casas Corrales was in the city of Tapachula, in the state of Chiapas.

"Please help us continue the search for our cousin María Caridad Casas Corrales, who has been missing since June 16, 2024. This was the last photo from where we lost track of her in Tapachula, Mexico," Corrales wrote in her emotional appeal to the community. "Any information is important; for God, nothing is impossible. Thank you for sharing," the desperate relative added.

The influencer Niover Licea also spread the alert and called on the Cuban community in Mexico to aid in the search. "We ask the entire Cuban community in Tapachula for help; this woman in the photo (video), named María Caridad Casas Corrales, is urgently sought," shared Licea.

According to the communicator, some sources suggested that Casas might have been a victim of a violent altercation involving smugglers. Licea reported, "A family source informed me that it's sadly believed she was involved in a shootout with coyotes after crossing the Mexican border," highlighting the severity of the situation and the urgent need for information to clarify her current state.

He further noted, "Unfortunately, she did not have the patience to wait for humanitarian parole and decided to try to reunite with her only son in the United States quickly. Given the circumstances, she was accompanied by some relatives, but they lost track of her."

Another Cuban, Oscar Luis Marcos Roso, has been missing in Mexico since last June. The 62-year-old was last seen in the Mexican state of Tabasco, and authorities have requested help to locate him. According to the "Missing Persons" notice released by the state's Prosecutor's Office, the man disappeared in the Municipality of Tenosique, Tabasco, on June 4, around 2:00 PM.

A happy ending was reached in the case of another Cuban reported missing. Yefery Rodríguez Ramos was recently found in a hospital in the city of Tapachula, in the state of Chiapas. "Dear friends, thank you all for your good wishes. Yesterday, the Cuban Yefery Rodríguez Ramos, who was missing, was found. He was in a hospital in Tapachula. Other Cubans went and found him there," journalist Mario J. Pentón announced on his social media.
