Cuban Actor Alberto Guerra Returns to Netflix with Mexican Series "Accidente"

After captivating audiences and achieving success on Netflix with his role as Darío in the popular series Griselda, Cuban actor Alberto Óscar Guerra Ramos will soon be making a comeback on the streaming platform.

On August 21, the mini-series Accidente will premiere, featuring the Cuban artist alongside an impressive cast. Alberto Guerra, who has been residing in Mexico for over two decades, will take on a new dramatic role alongside other renowned actors such as Ana Claudia Talancón, Sebastián Martínez, Regina Blandón, and Macarena García.

Accidente: A Deep Dive into Tragedy and Human Nature

According to Vogue, "Accidente explores the tragedy that transforms the lives of four involved families. Through a narrative that delves into the consequences of pain, guilt, and resentment, the story portrays individuals whose daily lives become a seemingly endless maze. Throughout the episodes, we will witness how the characters confront past wounds while striving to move forward and reveal their true nature as they seek to find the real culprit behind the tragedy."

The mini-series will be directed by Venezuelan Leonardo Padrón, who previously directed the successful Netflix series Pálpito, which also featured Cuban actress Jacqueline Arenal.

Besides Griselda, Alberto Guerra has built his career in Mexico and the United States with roles in well-known productions such as the Telemundo telenovela "Vale Todo," the series El Señor de los Cielos (playing José María 'Chema' Venegas), and Narcos: Mexico (as Ismael 'El Mayo' Zambada). He has also appeared in other notable Latin American works like Ingobernable, Historia de un Crimen: Colosio, and films like Cansada de Besar Sapos, Se Busca Papá, and Cassandro.

Recently, he appeared on the cover of Re-Edition magazine's spring-summer issue alongside Madonna and was a special guest at one of her concerts in Mexico City.
