Young Cuban Entertainers in the U.S. Seek Support to Break into Children's Party Animation

Wednesday, July 31, 2024 by James Rodriguez

Tiktoker Dairon Cano called for support this Tuesday for two young Cubans in Florida who are looking for work in children's party animation.

The influencer posted a video on TikTok sharing the story of the two Cubans, explaining that they perform as clowns, magicians, fire-eaters, and also do voice impersonations. One of them mentioned that he had worked in two variety companies in Cuba, and now in the United States, they aim to break into the children's entertainment industry.

Cano, who has assisted other Cuban immigrants, urged support by saying: “Let's give these young men some work. If you have a party or event at your house, consider hiring them.”

The Cubans showcased some of their skills, including voice impersonations of popular Cuban comedians from recent years. The current migration crisis has brought thousands of Cubans to the United States, all seeking opportunities in the labor market.

A Cuban doctor residing in the U.S., who recently sought help through social media to find a job in the healthcare sector, announced that he has secured employment at a clinic. “I have finally landed my dream job: I've been working at a clinic for 17 days, doing what I love and enjoy,” the Cuban physician stated through Cano.

Another young Cuban started a seafood business in Miami and asked for support to move forward and ensure a better future for his young family, including his little daughter. Cano posted a video highlighting that the young man offers free delivery throughout Miami-Dade and Broward.
