From Working "7 Days a Week" to Running a Million-Dollar Business: Cuban Woman in the U.S. Shares Her Success Story

Mary García, a Cuban woman who has been living in the United States for years, shared an emotional video with her followers where she recounted her achievements as a Cuban immigrant in the U.S. "To all my fellow immigrants! Those of you who promised yourselves a better future... I'm here to let you know that something better is indeed possible. As a Cuban, as an immigrant, as a mother, I tell you that if you have the strength to keep fighting, no matter your age, for what you know you deserve, do it. Let this video be the sign you were waiting for to dare to do something different," said @marypreneur on social media.

The video, composed of significant images from her journey as an immigrant, featured messages that attest to her arduous path to success. "One day, you are a Cuban immigrant working 7 days a week to support your family without being able to make it," reads one of the images, showing her first with her son upon arrival and later working as a cleaner. She then demonstrated how, with determination and effort, she managed to become part of the "Million Dollar Club."

In a previous video, this Cuban mother of three shared her story to instill confidence and motivation in those who listened. "I worked for 15 years until I found the business that allowed me to build my more than a million dollars in the first two years of that business," she recounted.

"I arrived in this country with $200 in my pocket, emigrated from Cuba to Florida with a one-year-old child, and today I’m going to tell you a story that might resemble your own before finding the answer and solution to those things I was searching for with effort and sacrifice, because nothing is given, nothing is easy, but it is possible," she continued.

In her story, she explained how she went from cleaning windows and garages to finding a business model that she felt was right for her, even though she didn't initially know how she would make it happen: "I wanted to try it, I wanted to attempt it. Because if someone could learn and someone had done it before, why couldn't I do it?"

Her message is clear: "Remember that someone you admire a lot, someone you consider a winner, was simply a person who lost many times but did not give up, did not stop trying, did not settle, and did not let others' criticisms or comments define her."
