In a Facebook post, Kalil stated that the female-led organization she heads, known as the "Everglades Avengers", achieved this remarkable feat in a single month, bringing their total to 969 since they started this mission.
Kalil emphasized that last month was exceptional for python hunting, a species that has significantly altered the wildlife in South Florida. "It has been an incredible experience, and I hope to continue with the mission of removing as many pythons as possible to make a significant positive impact on the native wildlife," Kalil wrote in her post.
