Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced on Thursday a grant of $8 million to support the construction of Inter Miami CF's new stadium, Miami Freedom Park. The news was revealed during a joint press conference with the soccer club, where the Republican was accompanied by Inter Miami owner David Beckham and managing owners Jorge and José Mas.

The $8 million grant provided by the state government represents a significant investment in the future of the team and the local economy, with the aim of boosting both entertainment and urban growth in Miami-Dade, highlighted the governor.

Details of Miami Freedom Park

The new stadium, Miami Freedom Park, will have a capacity for 25,000 spectators and is scheduled to open in 2026. This venue will be part of an ambitious $1 billion development that will also include a 58-acre public park and an entertainment district.
