Alejandro Cuervo and Arletis Rodríguez recently shared in an interview how they first met.
During a conversation with La Familia Cubana, Arletis began by saying they had crossed paths at a bar while celebrating a close friend's birthday. Alejandro was there, as he often spends his nights socializing and visiting bars. At that moment, the actor approached Arletis and asked her to dance.
"Perhaps she was the one who paid the least attention to me, you know, humans love challenges, and maybe that's what drew me to her," Alejandro remarked in the relaxed conversation. The chemistry and connection between the two were evident as they both agreed that Alejandro is more inclined to use glances and actions rather than compliments.
Since that encounter, their relationship has only grown stronger "to this day."
On April 30th, they celebrated their second wedding anniversary. Additionally, in December of the previous year, they marked 10 years together. The actor took this opportunity to reveal an anecdote from their early days: "Yes, today marks 10 years since our first kiss, from that night when she asked me where I parked. I laughed and said I didn't have a car, but I could invite her to a place with walls, a roof, and no bathroom that would be my future home (and she declined to go). A few days later, I was preparing lunch for the construction workers."
The couple has built a beautiful family with their two children: Bastian, born on October 4, 2022, and Aston, born on June 4th of this year.
