The Cuban actress Diana Rosa Suárez made a plea on social media for friends of fellow actress Paula Alí to assist her following neighborhood issues that recently led to Alí, 83, being admitted to the Emergency Unit at the Institute of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery in Havana.

"I am calling on our artist friends to support Paula Alí, who has been suffering from a psychological war against her and her family for years, severely affecting her health. We are hoping for justice and wishing her the best before it’s too late," Suárez wrote on her Facebook profile.

Paula Alí was urgently admitted to the Institute of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery in Havana, where she recovered favorably and has since been discharged.

Fellow actress Doris Gutiérrez, who plays a prominent role in the current Cuban telenovela "Renacer," clarified that "the event was caused by coexistence issues with some neighbors."

Musician Yunier Díaz also addressed the incident on Facebook, stating that "this publication is necessary," despite having spoken internally with the family and Paula herself.

"We hope justice is served for her, and we help you get out of the situation that caused this scare for you and those who love you. There are some very bad people out there. You will fully recover. My best wishes, and may you get out of this situation," Díaz expressed.

Born in 1938 in Candelaria, Pinar del Río, Paula Alí is an iconic figure in Cuban acting, with an illustrious career in television, film, and theater. Throughout her career, she has starred in films such as "Cartas del Parque," "Guantanamera," and "Amor vertical."
