Cuban Actress Giselle González Realizes Her Dream in Washington

The doors to acting remain open for Giselle González. Now in the United States, the artist is achieving a major dream as she will soon debut in a theater production in Washington DC.

The Cuban actress excitedly shared the news with her followers on social media, along with some photos holding the script of the play.

"It’s official! It's happening! And I'm so proud! I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be part of the next premiere at Teatro Gala in Washington DC," she revealed in her post.

"The first time I enjoyed one of their pieces, I felt such a special connection that I told myself, ‘One day I’ll step on that stage.’ A while later, here I am telling you about it. We're debuting in September with an incredible play by Gustavo Ott, whom I deeply admire and thank. I'm sharing the stage with a fantastic cast that I'll introduce to you later, under the direction of José Zayas and the wonderful production team and specialists involved in the project," detailed González.

It appears that Giselle González has decided to settle in the United States. For several months, she has been in the country with her partner and her son, although she has not yet confirmed whether her departure from Cuba is permanent, which can be inferred from this new acting project.

However, she did confirm that she will not be part of the new season of "Tras la Huella," a police drama in which she was one of the main characters.

Recently, Giselle reunited in Miami with several colleagues, including actor Alejandro Socorro, actress and comedian Gelliset Valdés, and film director Delso Aquino.
