The news that Vice President Kamala Harris is leading former Republican President Donald Trump in a poll measuring voter intent in Miami-Dade County has ignited a fierce debate on CiberCuba's social media platforms.

Conducted in early August by MDW Communications and recently released by a Democratic strategist, the survey found that 54% of potential voters in the county support Harris, compared to 40% for Trump.

Despite the source being cited as the Miami Herald, many of CiberCuba's MAGA-supporting readers lashed out at the media outlet, accusing it of various conspiracies, such as accepting money to publish pro-Democrat news, being infiltrated by communists, working for the Cuban regime, or being influenced by billionaire George Soros, a central figure in countless conspiracy theories.

"Very Important: CiberCuba is a mouthpiece for the Democrats and the communists. More Important: Wake up and don't be influenced by this type of 'press.' What a way for CiberCuba to serve the evil! CiberCuba is sold to the highest bidder. What more can you expect these days?" said Miguel Ángel Consuegra Prieto.

"CiberCuba News is a good mouthpiece for the communists. Wake up and don't be fooled, all these channels promote communism, and you know this very well; you fled your countries to improve your lives and have freedom of expression. We need to think carefully about what we are going to do," warned Paula Ramos.

"The media are receiving money to promote public opinion in favor of the Hyena and the Democratic Party... There's a lot of money in the hands of media outlets to prevent them from speaking ill of Kamala and to promote that she's leading in the polls... This is a disgrace... we never thought this would happen in the US. God have mercy... if those people win, everything will rot... it's a fact," opined Ri Ver.

"CiberCuba benefits from this controversy; they always play the same game, it always suits them. They know it's a lie, but they throw the meat into the water to make the piranhas fight. Let's not fall for it; these are from the other side," considered Roberto Fuentes.

"The corporate journalism is greasing the machines at full speed. What a way to amplify the lie, all fed by Soros!" indicated Osmel Rodríguez Díaz, who, like many others, opted to "shoot the messenger."

The fear that a future President Harris might establish a communist regime in the United States was also expressed by many other Cubans in the comments.

At the same time, several internet users drew parallels between the upcoming November presidential elections and past Venezuelan elections, expressing their discontent with the alleged "fraud" being prepared by the Democrats, accusing them of planning to rig the election results, similar to the National Electoral Council (CNE) of the Maduro regime in Venezuela.

"History and present: On November 7, 2024, it will be 107 years since the Bolsheviks entered Russia. And on November 5, 2024, the Bolsheviks will try to enter the White House. History and present. WAKE UP, United States," warned Frank Quintana.

"I am a citizen of this country and live in this county, and no one asked me. It seems like it was the alligators who voted for her. Bunch of cheaters. Trump 2024," said Clara Leal, unaware of the methodology used in voter intent polls and, like many others, mistakenly believing that such polls should survey all registered voters.

In that sense, a user identified as José Díaz attempted to provide a more informed opinion. "In Miami-Dade, Democrats always win, and the rest of Florida is for Republicans. Look at the polls from previous elections, and you'll see."

"I'm not surprised; Miami is already full of communists and leftist parasites of all kinds," responded Humberto Pérez. "They have been allowed to gain ground by saying that socialism wouldn't come here, and the truth is that they have already infested the youth, and many who fled their countries today vote for the same people responsible for their own misfortunes. Anyone who votes Democrat this November is giving their vote to the leftists," he concluded.

"No one has noticed what they are doing: they are trying to accommodate your mind to the idea that [Harris] can win so that when she does, it won't seem so shocking, and there won't be a war here. But don't doubt that the Democrats will cheat," considered Efrén Colina.

"At the rate they're going, they could win Florida, Texas, and all the Republican states any moment. Every day they remind me more of Venezuela's CNE," said user jorger.p on this media outlet's Instagram account.
