A Havana chocolate shop captured the moment when two women stole products from their store through a surveillance camera. "Yesterday afternoon, these young women intentionally took something that didn't belong to them from our shop," denounced "La Chocolatera," located in the Playa municipality, on their Facebook page.

The shared video clearly shows the two women taking products from the shop, placing them in their bags, and then leaving the establishment. "These bad behaviors affect social well-being, and are bad actions that we expose from La Chocolatera, hoping that such incidents are eradicated completely from our society," stated the post, signed by the General Management of the business.

In June, two thefts captured on camera were also reported. The first involved a man who entered a house and stole a washing machine from the yard. Meanwhile, in Santiago de Cuba, a man was caught by a surveillance camera as he entered a café and stole a cell phone.

At the end of July, a neighbor's surveillance cameras captured a thief stealing two bicycles from a home in the Playa municipality in broad daylight. The footage shows a young man taking a bicycle from a house. After leaving, he closes the grilled door of the porch, walks down a few steps carrying the bike, and mounts another bicycle that was apparently taken earlier and parked outside. He then pedals away calmly down the sidewalk, holding the other bike with one hand, under the watchful eye of a person who had just arrived at the scene but did not intervene.
