Another fire caused by the explosion of an electric scooter erupted in a Cuban home. This time, however, there were no fatalities. The incident occurred early Monday morning in Matanzas, specifically in Callejón de Guma between Mujica and San Gabriel.

According to the Facebook page La Tijera, the residents had to be rescued through the roof of the house. A photo shared on social media shows firefighters at the scene. As of now, no further details have been released.

Less than a week ago, a Cuban couple died after an electric scooter exploded in their home in the Luyanó neighborhood of Diez de Octubre municipality, Havana. Another family member who was present that night also died, and the couple's two daughters, aged 14 and 2, were seriously injured. It was later reported that the younger daughter passed away in the hospital.

The crime reporter Niover Licea, known online as "Nio reporting a crime," revealed that there were two electric scooters in the home. One exploded, causing a fire that spread to the other scooter. The house was barred, which complicated rescue efforts.
