A young Cuban is seeking assistance to locate his father, who has been missing since Sunday morning. The father allegedly traveled from San Cristóbal to Mariel in the Artemisa province.

The missing man, named Pedro Luis Echevarría Sánchez, is 61 years old and suffers from diabetes and hypertension, as per an alert published on Facebook by his son.

In the post, Pedro Luis Echevarría Torres expressed concern that his father might be disoriented due to being an insulin-dependent patient who is not taking his medication.

He explained that around 9 a.m. on Sunday, his father supposedly left Santa Cruz, in the municipality of San Cristóbal, heading to Mariel and was traveling in a car bound for Havana.
